Kim’s Review

It did take me a moment to get into A Canvas of Deceit by Margaret Evans because we are dropped right into the short story. But very quickly I was invested in Emma and wanted to see what would happen to her and with her and Michael.

As always, Evans writes a very tight story with her grammar on point. And I thought I knew for sure who the bad guy was, but the way the story ended was a fun surprise.

If you have an hour or so for some light reading, I highly recommend A Canvas of Deceit. And make sure to check out Evans’s other books, since she has written quite a few.
